Cannabis Schedule 3 Official (Also Remains Schedule 1)
State legal medical programs have been officially rescheduled as schedule 3 under the CSA, signed by acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Recreational still remains schedule 1.
This marks a massive movement towards cannabis as a whole, while still leaving some things to be desired. (full rescheduling, descheduling, legalization etc)
I find this massive for Republican's that are with President Donald Trump on his policies, as well as a lot of democrats even. This is what I consider a bipartisan win.
This does not mean they won't have legal battles to keep it rescheduled, and there's no new loops for dispensary's (medical) have to follow to stay compliant. I haven't read the whole order yet, so I won't comment much more than that on this yet; I'm a proponent of descheduling cannabis and allowing personal choice of consuming cannabis for many reasons, even if just to feel better and improve quality of life.
I definitely foresee a huge legal battle between SAM and the current Administration. I will try to keep up to date on this topic.
To those who keep tuned, thank you.
Take care,
